This Year another exciting new venue to join the arts trail is Village Point–
“a brand new events venue for the Heatons, featuring two iconic rooms suitable for a variety of occasions, and a co-working space for local freelancers, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. Located on Heaton Moor Road in the heart of the village (next door to the Elizabethan Pub), this beautiful 19th century building is currently undergoing a major renovation to restore its original glory whilst providing 21st century facilities.”
The Preview Night will take place here on Friday 24th June.
Artists exhibiting at Village Point are – Jane Mitchell, Meha Hindocha, Catherine Mahe, Kiran Lee , kate O’Brien, Jo Concannon and Jessica Wood
Hello, please can you confirm that the Preview night at the Village Point is accessible. I have an invite, but just needed to check.
Many thanks

Hello Chris. The Village point is open, but is only accessible via a staircase to the first floor at the moment, unfortunately. There will be a lift in the future, but this work is not completed yet. If you have our programme, the venues that have wheelchair access are marked in the listing. I hope this helps. Best wishes HAT team

Thanks for your reply. Good to know that there will be a lift, hopefully soon….. Of course this will mean that not only wheelchair users, but many others who cant manage stairs, including those who have children in buggies etc will benefit.
