I am interested in beauty of form and am increasingly working towards very fine translucent pieces. I also love op art and geometric designs. So the combination of form and decoration keep me very excited. I throw almost exclusively in porcelain, which I love for its whiteness, its smoothness, its shininess and its potential for translucence. I make some functional pieces – I love bowls above all things – but mainly my works are pieces of art you can use, rather than function being its primary purpose. People forget that beauty is an essential ingredient in our mental well-being.
