Porcelain vessels describing the process of making. The surface design is ambiguous. ‘Song bowls’, jugs with spoons, knitted vases.

Nicky Says “I have been a maker using ceramic materials for over 30 years and am a member of Clay Studio, Hulme. My work presents as collections which currently include personally commissioned song bowls and plates, hand built porcelain jugs and spoons, ‘knitted vases’, and small bowls with intricate individual drawing. I am inspired by patterns created accidentally within modern life. I hand build each piece. My latest work explores colour and texture. Another collection is more conceptual involving the constructions and self perceptions of what it means to be a young women in a complex world. I have exhibited in 2015 and in November 2017 at the Little Northern Contemporary Craft Fair and various venues throughout the northwest.
