Photographs of rural (and a few urban) landscapes from across the UK and sometimes beyond.

I have two hobbies; walking and photography, and I find that the two go really well together. I love to get out around the UK; from the Lake District to North York Moors, Snowdonia to Skye. I have family across the country too, which helps with multiple visits to certain places. I don’t have a prescribed approach to taking photographs, but I know one of mine as soon as I see it. There’s very little post-processing done, beyond the occasional clearing of a bit of twig sticking out of Loch Lomond, or some litter floating in Fishguard harbour. Trees feature very regularly, and my favourite of all the photographs I’ve ever taken is of a plantation of trees near to where my Mum lives in Gloucestershire.
